Difference between Wireless, DSL, Optical Fiber:
It wouldn’t come as a surprise that consumers cannot tell the difference between DSL, Optic Fiber, and Wireless connections. There’s no shame in not knowing about it because life is a learning process.
Wireless: Currently, many ISP are offering Wireless connections in urban cities to the consumers. The Internet Service Provider eliminates the cable, and he provides you access to the Wifi Internet that router installed near to your house. There are few ISP, who let you use WIFI installed in stores, restaurants, shopping malls, and any place where XXX ISP added their routers in India. The company provides you Login with a password; then you can use it anywhere in India.
DSL: DSL full form is Digital subscriber line, which is the first line that enabled Internet connection possible in India. The DSL connections are spread throughout India, which covers urban cities to villages. The downside of the DSL connection is speed, and 15MBPS is the final Internet speed DSL can offer.
Fiber Optic:Optical Fiber is the next generation technology of DSL. You can say that it is an improved version of DSL, where the Optical Fiber cut the cost to 25% and the maximum speed Fiber can offer is 100MBPS. The downside of Optical Fiber connections is that the infrastructure is limited to urban cities only. While DSL connections are throughout India, so it’s going to take a long time to replace DSL with Optical Fiber.
How we rate Broadband services:
We have mentioned that our reviews come from old customers or existing customer’s feedback and the complaints. We gather data from reputed websites, where customers add their feedback to tell the world about their experience with the ISP. We gather multiple reviews from various sources, then combine them to rate the ISP. Other things go into rating factor like Plans, Price to value, Customer support response, and Problem-solving capacity as well. We follow a pattern that helps us rate the ISP based on their performance and customer feedback. We consider every point, then note down the advantages and downside of the ISP, then we rate them accordingly.

If disappointment had a face then I would call it “Spiderlink”
Service is too poor that my frustration won’t let me explain it properly in words.
It’s been only 5 days since I’ve taken my connection and I’ve called them more than 15 times since then. Average to 3 calls per day.
In the first two days the internet was down for like 8-10 hours. They finally fixed it with the excuse “our technician made some mistake with your account”
After that, the internet is unusable from 12-6 in the day time. For a 5mbps connection, I get only 0.08mbps and 700+ ms ping.
Here is what they will do when you ask them for support:
1. Sir kindly restart your router
2. Check if the cables are properly connected
3. Are you using through LAN or WiFi?
And finally, when nothing helps, they will say “sir just give us 15 minutes and our technician will fix it for you”
After 2 hours their technical calls and requests remote access to the PC. After taking all the speed tests, they will say “sir give us some time we’ll fix it soon”
Then after 2 hours it will start working! You’ll be very happy. They will call you to acknowledge the case. You’ll thank them for fixing it even though they are thugs who are just taking your money and providing no service.
Then after half an hour, your internet will go down again. Now you won’t have energy to follow the same procedure again.
If you call them again, they will ask you to do all the things again like restarting router and all and if nothing helps, they will blame it on your computer.
Their customer support doesn’t even know how downloading and uploading works and what’s the role of ping. They think internet is meant for WhatsApp only so what’s the point of giving proper speed right?
Installation charges are pathetically high. Installation + device charged me 3000/- and they ask you to pay for 3 months in advance so that they can forcefully suck your soul for 90 days.
Conclusion: Ripping you off your money is their primary goal so better not go with this company. I wish their fraud business reaches its end soon. Also, I’ll make sure that I pass this message to all my friends and relatives.
